Digital conference will discuss the world’s food challenges

Initiative will allow the meeting and discussion with agricultural specialists, researchers, environmentalists, chef, among others.

“Food in times of crisis” is called the digital conference that will be held by the Global Landscapes Forum, GLF, Bonn 2020, from June 3 to 5, with the aim that the great minds of the world meet in line to reflect on the challenge of feeding a growing population without overexploiting the planet.

The GLF is the world’s largest knowledge-based platform on sustainable land use, dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. Entity that has connected 4,900 organizations and reaches 770 million people in 185 countries.

How wild foods can boost nutrition, livelihoods and biodiversity; Forest Frontiers: Accelerating Positive Forest Solutions for Sustainable Food and Livelihoods; Food security and nutrition: how forests, trees and agroforestry can help in times of climate crisis; are some of the topics to be discussed.

More than 100 experts, activists, chefs and others will be present at the event. Even a conversation with the yogi Sadhguru and the climate activist Alexandria Villaseñor.

Lastly, it should be noted that said platform will generate a translation into Spanish during the event. Those interested in participating should register on the platform of the GLF website .
