Vertical Agriculture Congress will take place virtually

The first ever “Vertical Agriculture World Congress” will be held from September 22-24, with numerous innovations to help develop an emerging community of leading producers, funders, suppliers and customers. Its theme will be: “Shaping the future of food.”

“We have already confirmed keynote speakers from around the world, including North America, the Middle East and Asia, as well as Europe,” said Richard Hall, president of food and beverage experts Zenith Global and organizer of the event.

Topics include: market opportunity; an industry leadership panel; strategic alternatives between aeroponic, aquaponic and hydroponic systems; briefings on technology ranging from lighting and robotics to overall system design; an information session on nutrition; a financing panel; and case studies of key innovators.

“Now, instead of a visit to the vertical farm, we plan to offer a selection. Beyond casual encounters, it will be possible to contact other delegates or speakers and set up conversations beforehand, as well as expand your network informally during the day. Questions can also be submitted in advance and sessions will be recorded for later review. Regional welcome receptions will allow other delegates from the same geographic area to introduce themselves, ”added Hall.

Among the speakers are:

– Leading growers such as 80 Acres Farms, AeroFarms, Bowery Farming, Growing Underground, Intelligent Growth Solutions, Jones Food Company, LettUs Grow, Root AI, Square Roots, The Circle, Uns Farms, Vertical Future and YesHealth
– Heads of associations, academics and nutrition experts from Germany, Japan, the Netherlands and Turkey.
– Investment experts from AgFunder, Ashfords, Innovate UK, S2G Ventures and Virgo.
– Other influencers and key clients from Agritecture and Migros to World Wildlife Fund.
